Britt Siess, President and Literary Agent

Britt Siess represents primarily graphic novels and illustrated works. As President and founder of BSCM, she has a passion for comics and sequential art, as well as a keen editorial eye that she brings to every project. She works closely with all of her clients from project development to publication.

Katie Brackman, Agency Assistant and Junior Agent

Katie was born and raised in West Virginia, where she spent most of her time building homes for fairies in the woods. She attended the University of Washington in Seattle and is now based in Charleston, SC. Katie has worked at BSCM for the past three years, first as Intern then as Agency Assistant, mentoring directly with Britt. She is currently building her list as a Junior Agent at BSCM, seeking both prose projects and graphic novels.

Phoebe Schmidt, Literary Agent

Phoebe Schmidt BSCM after working as an independent scout and a book-to-film agent at Paradigm Talent Agency. She works primarily with upmarket science fiction and fantasy. She is a hands on agent with a developmental approach, and loves projects that turn everyday life upside down.

BSCM uses Lyons & Salky Law, LLP, an NYC based firm specializing in the publishing and media industries to assist us in the negotiation of book contracts on behalf of our clients. We are pleased to be able to provide this service for our agency’s clients to be sure they are best set up for success.

BSCM’s foreign rights are handled by The Taryn Fagerness Agency.

BSCM works with a variety of co-agents when representing our clients for film and TV, including agents at TriadaUS, United Talent Agency, WME, and The Gotham Group.
