Britt focuses mostly on illustrated projects. Below is what she’s most keen to see!
Graphic Novels: Britt is eager to see more graphic novels come her way, particularly middle grade graphic novels. She is a huge fan of contemporary middle grade stories that feel accessible and relatable to today’s readers, such as Swim Team and Frizzy. She also loves a distinct art style that has the power to transport the reader, particularly in genre stories such as fantasy and horror (some of Britt’s favorite examples are The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Over My Dead Body). She also loves reading webcomics and has done a number of webcomic-to-print deals. She would love to see more submissions in this category, in any genre. In all projects, Britt is looking for new perspectives, fresh takes, a tight narrative, and an illustrative style that instantly draws the eye.
